We offer 2 methods of carriage which are dependent on the type of items ordered. The costs and the lead times for each delivery option are outlined below:
1. Parcel Delivery – Standard Size £10.99 / Large Size £16.85
For our smaller items, we offer parcel deliveries, you can see the costs for these at the checkout stage of your order. Once the item is in stock, this takes 5-7 working days. We work with An Post and UPS to provide this service. This is flat packed delivery only and light assembly may be required for some items.
2.Kerbside Pallet Delivery – Standard Size £39 / Large Size £59 / Extra Large Size £79
Our general lead time on all items is 5-7 working days, once the item is in stock. If you require furniture urgently or within a certain time frame, please contact us on 01617 100 596 between 10am and 5pm each day
If for some reason we are unable to deliver within our general lead time of 5-7 working days, we shall contact you directly to advise. We make every effort to deliver goods within the timescale given to you (supplied in your customer portal link sent via email at the time of purchase), however, delays beyond our control can sometimes occur.
Please note: As a result of new Customs procedures due to Brexit, our deliveries to the U.K. are taking a little bit longer - please bear with us as our couriers work to process your order as quickly as they can. There will be no Customs charges for you to pay upon delivery.
Prior to Delivery:
Our couriers will be in contact on the day of delivery to advise you of an approximate time for the delivery to take place.
If the time slot is not suitable, our couriers will do their utmost to accommodate your needs and work around your availability, but this may extend the lead time for your delivery. Please call us on 01617 100 596 if you cannot accept the delivery slot that was given to you. The courier's fleet follows specific routes and we may not be in your area on certain days of the week. Therefore, delivery requests for specific dates are on a request only basis and cannot always be fufilled.
We will store your goods for up to 14 days from when the item is in stock provided this is specifically requested and agreed to by our team and full payment is made at the point of sale. Unfortunately, we cannot hold goods for any longer than this.
On your Delivery Date:
Our delivery service operates Monday to Friday (excluding Bank holidays) between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm only.
Please note that a delivery cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery as our deliveries are prepared the evening before a scheduled delivery.
If our driver cannot contact you on the number provided by you or fails to gain access to your delivery address on the day then your delivery will be rescheduled for the next available day.
Please note, we do not offer a cardboard removal service. It is the responsibility of the customer to dispose of the packaging that your items are delivered in.

Signing for delivery:
Deliveries are to the kerbside of your home. Someone will need to be in to sign for the delivery. If you cannot be in, please ensure a neighbour will be in on the stated/requested day. We would not want your order to be left outside your door for insurance reasons, and therefore ask the delivery company to return the order to your local depot, and they will have to rearrange for another day. You could incur a re-delivery charge.
Faulty Goods: A 7 day money back guarantee exists for faulty products. Evidence of any faults will be needed to be supplied by the customer. This means that a replacement product can be offered or alternatively we will offer a full refund equal to the value of the returned product.
It is essential that any faulty product is made available for return in the exact condition in which it was delivered, along with the original packaging or similar. Items which are not adequately packaged at the time of collection may not be collected and a charge of £45 may be levied to cover the cost of failed collection. There will be no collection charges for faulty goods if the preceding conditions are adhered to. Once the faulty product has been successfully returned, a replacement product or a full refund will be arranged as quickly as possible.
Non-Faulty Goods: If the customer is dissatisfied with his/her purchase, contact with us must be made within 24 hours of the original purchase, if he/her wishes to return some or all items from his/her order. The customer can either arrange to return the goods to the supplier at his/her own cost or ask a collection to be made at the cost of £75 which will be deducted from the refund. Goods must be returned to us in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery to the customer and in the original packaging or similar. Items which are not adequately packaged at the time of collection may not be collected and a charge of £45 may be levied to cover the cost of failed collection.
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of goods and after we have inspected them for damage. We reserve the right to withhold all or part of your refund if items are returned damaged. Rathwood reserves the right to cancel any order at any point of the transaction up until the point where the customer is in possession of the goods. Rathwood will treat this order as a cancelled order unless the goods are in the possession of the customer. A full refund will be given if any monies have been paid.
